August research and design meetup - Designing an experience

When:  Aug 16, 2022 from 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM (AEST)

August meetup - Designing an experience

People never forget how you make them feel!

Andrew O'Loughlin will share stories and tips around experience design. Andrew has recently collaborated with VicSport + around 20 sport administrators from a range of sport and recreation organisations who were invited to take part in an 'immersive experience by stealth' and, for one afternoon, walk in the shoes of a participant.

Andrew is a Sport Experience Advisor, Facilitator and Strategist, passionate about working with others to ‘create a more active world, together’.

Using a Sport Experience Design (SXD) approach Andrew has developed a ‘Sport Experience Design Playbook’, to design (or redesign) projects, programs and events for sports, commercial and government organisations.

As an advocate for experiences that positively influence people, Andrew has published two books, hosts ‘The Sport Experience’ and ‘Event Show’ podcasts, The Event Club, and is a Founding member of the World Experience Organisation (WXO).
